Emergency Shower Bags for Bulk Procurement

An emergency shower bag is a foldable, portable product for simple water storage and delivery. When an earthquake, flood, or other emergency disrupts fixed washing facilities, or when an outdoor camp or temporary settlement lacks a normal water-delivery point, the filled bag can be suspended and used for basic rinsing together with a privacy tent or other screened space.

Standard 20 L emergency solar shower bag with hose and shower head for bulk procurement review

It is not a complete shower room and does not provide water purification, privacy screening, or floor drainage. Buyers should confirm the water source and filling method, capacity direction, filled weight, reliable support point, operating height, hose or shower-head components, and emptying, drying, and storage after use. Capacity, material, components, temperature indication, and sunlight performance remain subject to the current model, approved sample, quotation, and contract.

Filled emergency shower bag hanging ready for use for procurement review and emergency hygiene allocation

YRF Textile supplies standard solar shower bags for disaster relief, field camps, personal emergency kits and multi-location stockpiles. Standard models keep stable raw material stock, support flexible MOQ, regular spot goods and 72-hour production scheduling for emergency orders. All bulk orders follow sealed sample production, AQL 2.5 final inspection and 3-year batch sample traceability to ensure consistent quality across large volumes.

Start with the Real Use Environment

Note: Below parameters are standard reference values per common bulk factory specifications, custom requirements are adjustable; all performance values are under standard test conditions.

Disaster Relief & Temporary Settlement Basic Rinsing

Recommended model: 20L (5 gallon) standard black solar shower bag, most common for relief distribution, enough for 1-2 people quick rinse.

Key parameters (standard grade): Black heat-absorbing outer PVC + food-grade transparent inner PVC (meets food contact standards for washing use only, not for drinking water), thickness 0.3mm±0.02mm, large diameter screw cap for fast filling and reliable seal, 60cm flexible soft PVC hose (remains pliable above -5℃), on/off switch shower head (flow rate 2-3L/min, 7-10 minutes use per full bag), reinforced nylon webbing handle (no brittle plastic), temperature indicator strip (30-45℃ range, ±2℃ accuracy, high temp warning), empty weight 260-290g, storage size 20×15cm.

Procurement note: Compact individual OPP bag packing, fits standard personal hygiene kits, custom agency printing available for stockpile projects. Note: only black color provides reliable solar heat absorption; other colors have significantly lower heating effect.

Field Camp & Military Repeated Use

Recommended model: 20L heavy duty shower bag, enough for 1-2 people, supports 50+ uses with proper care and drying after each use.

Key parameters (heavy duty grade): Thickened 0.4mm±0.02mm new PVC, double reinforced heat-sealed handle points, 80cm thick kink-resistant soft PVC hose, durable brass-core switch valve, extra strong nylon hanging rope, empty weight 380-420g. Cold-resistant modified PVC option for below 0℃ environments, no cracking at -20℃.

Procurement note: More puncture and tear resistant for long term camp use, custom olive green/desert colors available (note: non-black colors have limited solar heating), works with standard shower tent hanging points (hanging point load ≥30kg for safe use). Universal hose/valve fitting, replacement parts available.

Personal/Go-Bag Emergency Kit

Recommended model: 10L compact portable shower bag, enough for 1 person quick rinse.

Key parameters (standard grade): 0.3mm new PVC, compact hose and small shower head, nylon handle, light weight 160-180g, small storage size fits personal emergency kits and backpacks.

Emergency shower bag folded into a compact size for transport for procurement review and emergency hygiene allocation

Procurement note: Lightweight for individual carry, can be packed into personal survival kits, custom logo for kit branding available.

Multi-location Emergency Bulk Distribution

Recommended model: 20L standard black model.

Key parameters (standard grade): Uniform 20L capacity, full accessory set (hose, shower head, handle, temperature strip), individual plain OPP bag, 100pcs per standard export carton, carton size 60×40×40cm, gross weight ~29kg per carton; reference loading: ~12000pcs per 20ft container, ~28000pcs per 40HQ. Clear batch marks, 270g per unit.

Procurement note: Standard carton counts for easy distribution, supports split delivery to multiple sites with separate packing lists per destination.

Basic rinsing after a disaster or at temporary accommodation

When fixed washing facilities are temporarily unavailable, confirm a usable water source, reliable support point, privacy screening, and basic drainage conditions. The bag only stores and delivers water; it does not replace a shower tent, purifier, or drainage facility.

Outdoor carrying and dispersed use

For individual or small-team carrying, check empty storage, filled handling and suspension, storage of the hose and outlet parts, plus emptying and drying after use. A lightweight empty bag may still be difficult to move or suspend when filled.

Procurement with emergency hygiene supplies

Shower bags may be planned with privacy tents, portable toilets, hand-washing products, or personal kits, but each category needs separate quantities, components, packing, and acceptance references rather than one undefined hygiene set.

Choose the Configuration by the Full Operating Sequence

Start with filling and closure

Buyers need to simulate where the water comes from, which tool fills the bag, whether the opening can be handled at the site, and how a filled bag is closed and moved to the support point. The fill opening may look minor, but it directly affects refill speed, spillage, and whether one person can complete the task. Standard models use large screw caps for reliable sealing; do not fill to full capacity, leave ~10% headspace for thermal expansion when heating in sun to prevent leakage.

Then check suspension and outlet components

A hose, shower head, tap, or valve is not an optional detail to ignore. These parts determine operating height, hand movement, outlet position, and storage. Procurement documents should list each component, quantity, and connection instead of stating only “one shower bag set.” Standard models use universal fittings for easy replacement of worn parts.

Wide fill opening on an emergency shower bag for bulk procurement review and field hygiene distribution

Finish with instructions and recovery

If the project needs a temperature indicator, operating instructions, or multilingual labels, confirm the display, reading position, and wording during sample review. Emptying, drying, and recovering components after use must also enter the workflow; successful issue does not by itself create manageable repeated use. Empty all residual water after use and dry completely to prevent odor, mold or PVC sticking.

Confirm Quantity from Allocation and Site Conditions

State whether bags will be allocated per person, family, team, or site, then review expected users, refill conditions, reliable support points, and spare needs. This page does not impose one users-per-bag or cycle formula because capacity, use pattern, and project arrangements differ. For reference: 10L for 1 person quick rinse, 20L for 1-2 people, 25L for 2-3 people.

Filled weight needs a separate check. More water directly increases handling and suspension load. Final suitability of the support point, handle, hook, and connector must be confirmed against the current capacity, filled sample, and site structure; a lightweight empty bag does not prove safe filled suspension. When used with shower tents, confirm hanging point load ≥30kg for 20L models.

Shower Bag-Specific Procurement Risks & Our Controls

  • Thin underweight PVC: Cheap bags use 0.2mm or thinner PVC that tears easily or leaks at seams when full; we use standard 0.3mm/0.4mm new PVC, thickness measured per batch with micrometer, tolerance ±0.02mm, no thin material.
  • Recycled smelly brittle PVC: Recycled PVC has strong chemical smell, gets brittle in cold weather and cracks, may cause skin irritation; you can identify it by grayish tint, strong odor and white crease marks when folded; we use 100% new PVC, food-grade inner layer for water contact, no recycled material.
  • Leaking valves/shower heads: Cheap on/off valves leak after a few uses, especially in cold; we test every batch of valves for 100+ open/close cycles no leakage at room temperature, pre-tested before packing.
  • Weak plastic handles that break: Cheap plastic handles become brittle and snap in cold weather or under load; we use high strength nylon webbing handles, double reinforced attachment points, 25kg pull test no tear.
  • Narrow heat seals that split: Narrow 5mm heat seals split under water pressure; we use ≥8mm wide heat seals on all edges, 0.03MPa static pressure tested no burst.
  • Short hard plastic hoses that kink/crack: Thin hard hoses kink and stop water flow, crack in cold; we use 60cm standard flexible soft PVC hose that resists kinking and remains pliable above -5℃, heavy duty 80cm option.
  • Fake/inaccurate temperature strips: Cheap temperature strips don't change color or show wrong temp; we use standard reliable thermochromic strips 30-45℃ range ±2℃ accuracy, tested per batch, high temp warning mark.
  • Clip-on caps that leak: Cheap fold-over clip seals leak easily when filled or heated; we use large diameter screw caps for tight reliable seal, fast filling.
  • Missing accessories in bulk: Bulk packs often missing hoses or shower heads; every unit is checked for full accessory set before packing, 100% accessory inspection.
  • Non-black colors with poor heating: Colored (olive/blue/orange) bags absorb much less sun heat; we clearly note this before order, no false solar heating claims for non-black models.

Quality & Safety Red Lines (Acceptance Standards & Use Notes)

All PVC is 100% new material, food-grade inner layer for washing water contact only (not for drinking water/food storage), no recycled smelly brittle PVC; every unit passes inflation leak test before packing; all accessories included per set.

Standard models: PVC thickness within ±0.02mm of quoted specification; heat seal width ≥8mm on all edges; nylon handle points double reinforced, 25kg static load hung 1 hour no leak/tear; valve 100 open/close cycles no leak at room temp; standard PVC suitable for use above 0℃.

Heavy duty/repeated use models: 0.4mm PVC thickness, double reinforced handles, kink-resistant soft hose, supports 50+ fill/use cycles without seal failure with proper drying after each use; cold-resistant modified PVC option for -20℃ environments.

Temperature indicator is a reference strip only, not a precision thermometer; black heat absorbing layer warms water in direct strong sun (2-3 hours at 25℃+ ambient can reach 30-40℃), actual temperature depends on sunlight, ambient temp and initial water temp, no fixed heating time or temperature guaranteed.

Safety use rules: Do not fill with water over 45℃/113℉, no boiling water to avoid PVC deformation; do not drag filled bag on rough ground to prevent punctures, keep away from sharp objects; empty all residual water after use and dry completely to prevent odor/mold; adult supervision required when children use; do not use as long term water storage container.

Common Procurement Term Explanation

Solar heat absorption: Black outer PVC absorbs sunlight to warm water inside; under direct strong summer sun (ambient 25℃+) 2-3 hours water can reach 30-40℃, this is not a fixed guarantee, results vary with weather and color; non-black colors have minimal heating effect.

Temperature indicator strip: Thermochromic plastic strip on the bag front that changes color to show approximate water temperature range 30-45℃, ±2℃ accuracy, it is a reference guide not a precision thermometer, shows high temp warning above 45℃ to prevent scalding.

PVC thickness & grade: 0.3mm is standard for single use/short term relief use above 0℃; 0.4mm is heavy duty for repeated long term camp use; cold-resistant modified PVC for below freezing environments; thickness measured with micrometer, tolerance ±0.02mm; new PVC is flexible, odorless, no white creases when folded.

Food-grade inner layer: Inner PVC meets food contact material standards, no harmful chemicals leach into water, safe for washing and rinsing use; it is NOT for drinking water, does not purify water, and cannot be used to store food or drinking water.

Leak test standard: Each bag is inflated to 0.02MPa and held for 10 seconds, no pressure drop or leakage; seams also pass 0.03MPa static pressure test to prevent bursting.

Convert “Solar Shower Bag” into Checkable Requirements

Solar shower bag is a common market name, not a promise of fixed heating time or water temperature. Sunlight, ambient and starting water temperature, fill volume, bag color, bag position, and use time all affect the result. Procurement documents should define the bag construction, color direction, temperature-indication requirement, and instructions to confirm rather than copy an unverified temperature claim.

Remove Common Missing-Part and Mismatch Risks Before Quotation

  • A bag body without a complete outlet set: list the bag, nylon handle, hook, hose, shower head, tap, valve, screw cap and instructions in the BOM or component list.
  • Suitable capacity but an inadequate support point: confirm capacity, filled load, suspension height, and site structure together; hanging point load ≥30kg for 20L models.
  • A hose that cannot reach the operating position: check hose reach and user posture at the planned suspension height; standard 60cm hose fits standard shower tent height.
  • Products can be issued but the site lacks privacy or drainage: treat the shower space, drainage, and user flow as separate site provisions.

Complete emergency shower bag accessory kit arranged for checking for bulk procurement review

  • The sample is complete but bulk packs lose components: define per-set quantities, packing positions, sampling checks, and the contractual exception route; 100% accessory check before packing.
  • Bags are folded directly after use: assign responsibility for emptying, cleaning, drying, recovery, and repacking before deployment; residual water causes odor and mold.

Use the Sample to Rehearse the Real Handling Sequence

  1. Fill to 90% proposed capacity and check filling, screw cap closure, lifting, and filled suspension (25kg load test).
  2. Compare the nylon handle, hook, hose, shower head, tap, or valve against the component list, check universal fitting for replacement.
  3. At the planned operating height, check outlet control, flow rate, hose reach, residual water, and component storage.
  4. Complete emptying, cleaning, drying, folding, and repacking to confirm that the site can support the process.

Emergency Shower Bag Procurement FAQs

1. What should a bulk inquiry include first?

Provide the site, users, quantity, use temperature range, refill method, suspension conditions, capacity direction, components, packing, and destination. These inputs define the quotable scope more reliably than unit price alone, and allow us to provide carton/loading data for freight calculation.

2. How should buyers choose capacity?

Evaluate it together with the use task, refill frequency, carrying distance, and suspension capacity. For reference: 10L for 1 person quick rinse, 20L for 1-2 people, 25L for 2-3 people. After a nominal direction is selected, use a filled sample to check actual handling and suspension.

3. Does “solar” guarantee a fixed water temperature?

No. Results depend on sunlight, ambient and starting water temperature, fill volume, bag color and positioning. Only black outer layer provides reliable heat absorption; under 25℃+ ambient strong sun 2-3 hours water can reach 30-40℃, no fixed temperature or heating time is guaranteed; temperature strip is for reference only.

4. Can a shower bag replace a water purifier or hold drinking water?

No. It stores and delivers water for washing only; the food-grade inner layer is safe for rinsing contact but does not purify water, and is not designed for storing drinking water or food. Purification equipment requires separate selection and acceptance.

5. Can it be hung directly from a tent?

Only if the hanging point is confirmed to hold ≥30kg for 20L models. Do not assume general tent fabric can hold the weight; use reinforced frame hanging points or separate stands where needed. A full 20L bag weighs 20kg, plus dynamic load from movement.

6. Are the hose, shower head, valve, and tap always included?

Standard models include 60cm hose, on/off shower head, screw cap and nylon hanging rope; confirm each component, quantity, connection, and packing in the sample record rather than infer them from the product name. Parts use universal fittings for easy replacement.

7. How should bags be stored after repeated use?

Empty fully, rinse, dry completely inside and out before folding and storage. Residual water or damp packing causes mold, odor or PVC sticking; store in cool dry place away from direct sun, do not place heavy items on top.

8. How are samples, freight, and preparation handled?

Sample fee is quoted separately per style and customization, prepaid by buyer along with courier cost, sample fee non-refundable; we provide free specification, quotation and sample guide. Preparation time confirmed per product and customization.

9. How are bulk goods checked against the sample?

Record construction, capacity direction, thickness, components, color, temperature strip, labels, and packing in the approved sample record and written specification, then inspect with the component and packing lists, including 0.02MPa inflation leak test and 25kg load test.

10. Can shower bags be quoted with shower rooms, tents, or hygiene supplies?

Yes, but each category needs separate quantities, specifications, samples, packing, and acceptance references. They should not be merged into one undefined product.

11. How should the project quantity be calculated?

First decide whether allocation is per person, family, team, or site, then confirm quantity from expected users, refill conditions, reliable support points, and spare needs. Use the per-person capacity reference (10L/20L/25L) as a starting point, do not apply one fixed formula across different use plans.

12. Which documents should be checked for each batch?

Check the current written specification, approved-sample record, BOM or component list, label proof, packing list, leak test report, and any batch documents required by the contract. Test and report scope remains model- and contract-specific.

13. Can we mix 10L and 20L in one order?

Yes. Mixed capacities are accepted; each capacity is separately packed and clearly marked, itemized packing list provided per SKU to avoid site mix-ups.

14. Can you print government or agency logos?

Custom logo/text printing is available per buyer's authorized artwork; screen printing is dry rub 50 times no fading. We do not claim official partnership with any agency, only provide custom marking service for buyer's project use.

15. How long can these be stored in stockpiles?

When stored in original unopened packaging in cool dry conditions, standard new PVC bags remain usable for 3 years; we recommend annual inspection for PVC aging or brittleness, especially in hot or cold environments.

16. Do you support government tender projects?

We provide required test reports (including food contact), factory qualification documents, inspection records, carton/loading data and full tender document support, can customize parameters (including cold resistance) to match tender specifications, and support third-party factory audit.

17. What trade terms do you support?

Shipment from major ports in China, customer-nominated port supported. Trade terms EXW/FOB/CIF available, DDP evaluated for selected destinations only.

18. Can these be used in cold winter environments?

Standard 0.3mm PVC is suitable for use above 0℃; for below freezing environments we recommend cold-resistant modified PVC that remains flexible at -20℃ without cracking. Do not use standard PVC in freezing conditions as it becomes brittle.

19. What is the carton size and loading quantity for freight calculation?

Standard 20L model: 100pcs per carton, carton size 60×40×40cm, gross weight ~29kg. For reference: ~12000pcs per 20ft container, ~28000pcs per 40HQ container. Exact loading depends on packing and container type.
