I. Product Series & Selection Guide

Organized by core procurement scenarios, each category includes multiple material options to precisely match different project budgets, climates, and performance requirements.

1. Disaster Relief Stockpile Series

Designed for bulk allocation and distribution by government emergency management departments, NGOs, and humanitarian organizations. Three material options are available, ideal for refugee camp blankets use and temporary shelter warming:

Wool Blend Standard Relief Blanket: 500GSM virgin wool blend with classic stripe design, balancing warmth and durability. It is the mainstream specification for global disaster relief stockpile blankets, with a standard size of 150×200cm. Available in navy, dark grey, and olive green stripes, suitable for temperate and cold climate stockpiles. It is a commonly selected model for emergency reserve projects in European countries such as Romania.
Lightweight Polyester Distribution Blanket: 350-400GSM polyester raschel material, lightweight and easy to fold, with low unit cost. Ideal for large-scale distribution in refugee resettlement and temporary evacuation sites. Available in grey, navy, and khaki, suitable for large-scale deployment in high-temperature, high-rainfall regions such as Kenya, Angola, Cambodia, and Myanmar.
RPET Recycled Eco-Friendly Blanket: Made from RPET recycled polyester fiber, aligned with international sustainable procurement trends. Its thermal performance matches that of virgin polyester blankets, making it suitable for green tender projects by international organizations. Available in 350-600GSM.

2. Permanent Flame Retardant Blankets for Correctional Facilities

Specially designed for prison, detention center, and jail environments, built for vandal-proof beds and harsh usage conditions, with enhanced safety features as the core priority:

Fully wrapped tear-resistant structure with no exposed hard parts and excess string ends, eliminating safety risks of being dismantled into dangerous items
Equipped with permanent flame retardant technology, maintaining flame retardant performance after 50 standard wash cycles with neutral detergent at normal temperature. Meets correctional facility fire safety regulations and withstands high-frequency laundering, with shrinkage rate ≤3%
Available in 500GSM wool blend relief blanket and 500GSM thickened polyester options, in stain-resistant colors such as navy blue, dark grey, and deep blue. Meets the procurement standards of correctional systems across the Middle East and Africa

3. Heavy-Duty Thermal Blankets for Military & Field Camps

Built for high-intensity use in military field deployments, border outposts, and cold-region disaster relief projects:

600-700GSM high-density pure wool material with double reinforced hemming, tear and abrasion resistant. Provides effective thermal insulation at -15℃ in static conditions
Available in standard military colors: army green, navy, and solid grey. Suitable for long-term warehouse stacking, with a service life more than twice that of standard relief blankets

VIII. Procurement Guide: 4 Key Pitfalls in Bulk Disaster Relief Blanket Sourcing

Based on 20 years of experience in emergency textile supply, we outline 4 hidden pitfalls most commonly encountered in institutional bulk procurement, to help projects avoid risks such as acceptance failure, delivery delays, and quality degradation.

Beware of Understated GSM to Avoid Poor Thermal Performance
Disaster relief acceptance has clear tolerance requirements for fabric weight. Some suppliers claim 500GSM but actually deliver 420-450GSM, resulting in significantly reduced thermal performance and high risk of project acceptance failure. We recommend clarifying GSM tolerance ranges and agreeing on arrival sampling terms before placing orders. All our batches maintain GSM tolerance strictly within ±3%, with retained samples for every production run for full traceability.

Flame Retardant Finishes Vary by Grade – Don’t Choose Solely by Price for Correctional Projects
Flame retardant blankets are divided into surface-coated types and permanent pad-dyed types. The former loses most of its flame retardant effect after 3-5 washes and is only suitable for single-use scenarios. For high-wash scenarios such as prisons and long-term camps, permanent flame retardant technology is mandatory. Our correctional-specific models use full-dip permanent flame retardant technology, remaining compliant after 50 washes with neutral detergent at normal temperature, fully suited for long-term correctional use.

Don’t Trust Verbal Capacity Claims – Confirm Production Schedules First
Disaster relief projects have extremely strict delivery requirements. Some suppliers overstate monthly capacity, leading to delivery delays during peak production seasons. We recommend confirming production schedules and phased delivery plans before placing orders, rather than relying on unconditional “ultra-short lead time” promises. Our standard monthly capacity is 80,000 units, expandable to 100,000 for large orders with advance booking. All orders come with a clear production schedule and full progress updates.

Choose Vacuum Compressed Packaging for Long-Term Stockpiling
Disaster relief supplies are typically stored in warehouses for extended periods. Standard packaging is prone to moisture and mold during sea freight, with mildew and pest damage appearing after 1-2 years of storage. Vacuum packed relief blanket not only reduces shipping volume by 30%-40% and cuts logistics costs, but also seals out moisture and mold, greatly extending storage life. It is the optimal choice for emergency stockpile blanket projects.
